Look Fantastic 1st Birthday box :)

Last week I received the Look Fantastic 1st Birthday Edition. It was the first year from them with boxes and it has been a very mixed year. I have bought a few boxes and some have been amazing and others have been a bit disappointing. I was looking forward to this box but it is a strange mix of useful and not so useful things 🙂

The first item in the box is the Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash in a travel size / 30 ml. It’s a 2-in-1 rinse-off cleanser and exfoliator for all skin types. It also claims that guys can use this as a shaving cream stand-in. I always have mixed feelings about Bliss – they have amazing products but also very hyped products that costs way too much but I will look forward to see if this is a great product.

Tanworx Tan Maintainer is a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and carrot oil. I never tan so this product is not really my cup of tea and it smells so much like tanning to me that I am not even sure I will use it as a body lotion. It is going to prolong the life of your tan and extend summer with a natural looking color and it actually enhances your brown look when you put it on. (I just tried it on my left arm and now I look funny like I have two different colors on my arms lol… Not very much so but it deepens the color on your skin somehow!)

Professional Sebastian gives you travel size shampoo and conditioner. It’s a Penetraitt Shampoo and conditioner that should guard your hair from stress and damage and give super-soft hair. Sounds promising.

Phyto gives you an option of 4 deluxe samples: Repair mask, Repair shampoo, color protect shampoo and express conditioner, but I got a hair serum/cream in full size as far as I can see. I think most people did from looking at the web. I wont complain though because it’s a VERY good product and it gives shine and moisture to the hair.

Caudalie Vinosource in S. O. S. Thirst Quenching Serum and moisturising sorbet. Two travel size products that should increase hydration and redness so your skin becomes softer and comfortable and maintains a healthy moisture balance. I haven’t tried these yet but I love most of the other Caudalie products so I am looking forward to taking these on a travel at some point.

Last but not least is a Codage Scrubbing cream an emulsion from organic rice that exfoliates and stimulates elasticity and cellular renewal. You apply it on dry skin until the cream is absorbed and then you add water to perfect the exfoliation and rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice per week. I have so many exfoliators so I will use this for travelling as well.

This is not a terrible box. I like the samples and love the hair serum but it’s not really THAT exciting for a Birthday Box 🙂 I give it **** out of 6 stars! And that is mostly for Caudalie and the hair serum/cream 🙂
