Juicy Shakers from LancΓ΄me

I have to admit I thought I wouldn’t like them because they seemed like a rip-off from YSL Oil-in-tint but I really like the three versions I have of this new trend.

Lemon Explosion – so pretty and fresh!

Wonder Melon.jpg

Wonder Melon – so fab on summer lips!

Mint to be II.jpg

Mint to be – goes sheer and with a hint of shimmer on the lips + gives fresh breath!

Very easy to apply – just shake them up and apply to the lips! Would love them all but settled for those three so far πŸ™‚ ***** out of 6 stars!

Seatree Art Eye shadow palette in Brown.

A few weeks ago I got the Seatree Art eye shadow palette. I have to admit I bought it only because it looks so cute!!!

Blog I.jpg

My expectations were zero because I have had so mixed experiences with Korean eye shadows and I have mixed emotions about this palette too.

Blog III.jpg

I love the way it looks! And the eye shadows are very soft and buttery. When you swatch it you think that it will be powdery and full of fallout but when you put it on your skin it turns to silk. I would love this eye shadow if the colors were not practically invisible on my skin except for the few dark colors!

They blend very well and are fine as an every day shadow but as you can see from the swatch picture they pretty much match my skin so they could be used as a highlighter instead…

Eye Color Palette, Aubergine Dream

I’ve had this Eye Color Palette from H&M for quite a while now but I have not really used it before. I have so many palettes, so it was hiding at the back of my drawer. I was not expecting much since I have had really bad luck with H&M makeup but that was before they launched their new stuff for what now seems forever ago. I really love their lipsticks and also the packaging. I actually run around with them in my bag and have totally forgotten to use my YSL and Dior lippies since I got them. That is how good they are.

The palette is called Aubergine Dream and it is filled with different shades of Aubergine colors. I really like the mix of mat and shimmery shades. I have to admit that the glitter shades swatches better as with a lot of cheaper eye shadows. But in general I like the quality. They blend really well and if you spray with UD All Nighter Settingspray then they will last all day or night.

Swatches II.jpg

On the picture they look very brownish but that is because my camera is really bad sorry πŸ™‚

I give this palette **** out of 6 stars! I really like it for the price!

The deadline for the giveaway has ended :)

I made a mess with Rafflecopter and drew two winners but that is not their fault that I am really silly and press the wrong buttons! I have just decided that they will split the prize and get half each + some extra goodies that I will add πŸ™‚

They have to contact me and give me their address before 13.00 CET Saturday the 29th of August because I am shipping the goodies next week! πŸ™‚

The winners are Joanne Mallon and Anastasia Nedoroscik!!!

Congratulations to both! I am also sending you mails and hope that you will respond! Otherwise I will draw another winner if both doesn’t reply πŸ™‚

Makeup and skincare hunting in Berlin :)

My holiday in Berlin gave me a fantastic knowledge about how to find great makeup and skincare brands in Germany.

Here are some ideas (I bet you have many more if you come from Germany!) :

DM – drogerie markt is one of the largest chains in Germany. They carry my favourite German brand Balea and it’s one of the only places in the world where you can get skincare and makeup so cheap with really good quality.

Just to mention one example you can buy a Limited EditionΒ VEGAN bodyshampoo from Balea with 300 ml for only 0,55 € πŸ™‚

Unfortunately they only ship to Germany sorry 😦 Or if you are swapping with someone in Poland it might also work out so they can get you something from this brand.

Another huge chain in Germany is Rossmann – it is almost the same as DM but with different brands. DM has Balea and Rossman has Rival De Loop, Bebe and Alterra.

It’s the same with this drugstore although it can be found in Poland as well πŸ™‚ Both carry Essence and most of the other really great brands that you love from the Drugstore.

Kiko has stores all over Germany and also in Berlin. They usually have a sale in July so it’s a very smart time to visit and haul all of the last seasons finds for a small price!

Douglas is exactly like the chain in the UK but I stil love finding brands and great stuff there. They also have a sale in July although it was not nearly as good this year as the last year. I buy Soap and Glory, Benefit and Zoova brushes there!

KaDeWe – the huge departmentstore is amazing for all the High-end brands like Chanel, YSL, Dior and such. You also find a Benefit Brow Bar there as well. If you go please also visit the food department – it’s one of the best I have ever seen. Only Harrods is better πŸ™‚

Galeries Lafayette is more or less the same – located in the middle of Berlin on Friedrichstrasse, it’s one of the largest in Berlin.Β They also have all the High-end brands and a food court. No Benefit though as far as I could see.

You can not shop in Berlin without visiting Mall of Berlin. Over 300 stores in ONE PLACE πŸ™‚ And it’s really pretty and have a huge foodcourt as well πŸ™‚ Really love that mall!

From the outside it doesn’t look like much:

But it’s really pretty on the inside:

Finally Alexa is a mall near Alexanderplatz. They have a huge selection of stores and a foodcourt as well. And they have my favourite teddy store of all times. Sorry the teddy shop is not skincare or makeup related but you can also find Rossmann, Rituals and Yves Rocher in the mall πŸ˜‰

If you have more tips and tricks for makeup- and skincare shopping in Berlin please let me know! πŸ™‚
