Seatree Art Eye shadow palette in Brown.

A few weeks ago I got the Seatree Art eye shadow palette. I have to admit I bought it only because it looks so cute!!!

Blog I.jpg

My expectations were zero because I have had so mixed experiences with Korean eye shadows and I have mixed emotions about this palette too.

Blog III.jpg

I love the way it looks! And the eye shadows are very soft and buttery. When you swatch it you think that it will be powdery and full of fallout but when you put it on your skin it turns to silk. I would love this eye shadow if the colors were not practically invisible on my skin except for the few dark colors!

They blend very well and are fine as an every day shadow but as you can see from the swatch picture they pretty much match my skin so they could be used as a highlighter instead…

Eye Color Palette, Aubergine Dream

I’ve had this Eye Color Palette from H&M for quite a while now but I have not really used it before. I have so many palettes, so it was hiding at the back of my drawer. I was not expecting much since I have had really bad luck with H&M makeup but that was before they launched their new stuff for what now seems forever ago. I really love their lipsticks and also the packaging. I actually run around with them in my bag and have totally forgotten to use my YSL and Dior lippies since I got them. That is how good they are.

The palette is called Aubergine Dream and it is filled with different shades of Aubergine colors. I really like the mix of mat and shimmery shades. I have to admit that the glitter shades swatches better as with a lot of cheaper eye shadows. But in general I like the quality. They blend really well and if you spray with UD All Nighter Settingspray then they will last all day or night.

Swatches II.jpg

On the picture they look very brownish but that is because my camera is really bad sorry πŸ™‚

I give this palette **** out of 6 stars! I really like it for the price!

& Other Stories, Eye Color Palette in “Brocade Aegean”

When I was in & Other Stories I saw this palette and had to buy it. I haven’t owned any eyeshadows from their own brand and it was on sale so it seemed like a good deal. The shadows are paraben free πŸ™‚

Eye Shadow

The palette has one matt shadow – the mustard colored one. It is a bit hard to swatch as you can see from the picture below but these shadows doesn’t have fallout unless you grab a huge amount of shadow. The purple and the dark pink shades have tiny hints of shimmer in the same color and then the light olive golden color are full shimmer.

Eye shadow II

I have only swatched this and haven’t used it for real makeup yet but it seems promising. It will have to be a very special outfit for all the colors to match the same look though. I probably wont use this much because I love natural colors but it’s nice to have some bright colors for creating festive looks as well πŸ™‚

Although I do like the packaging it’s VERY thick acrylic so I wont be carrying around! But it has a nice vibe when it’s just a clear case with black writing.

Clinique Chubby Stick – Shadow Tint for Eyes in 01 Bountiful Beige

Sometimes I am simply not thinking straight – I bought this Clinique Chubby Stick eyeshadow in Bountiful Beige and I have discovered that it 100 % Matches my skincolor just with shimmer in it… So you could ask yourself what the point of having an eyeshadow that totally matches your skin is?!? Other than it actually is a fantastic base for your Notoriously Morbid pigments if you have any of those!!!

This is the shade I got 01 Bountiful Beige. It is very pretty when I swatch it on my hand – but strangely on my eyes it’s pretty neutral – you just notice a hint of shimmer. But it works perfectly for a nude makeup look or as a base for other eyeshadows.

Chubby stick

Had I been using my intelligence I would problebly have chosen Pink & Pretty or Lavish Lilac but now that I know I like the concept of the Chubby Sticks I might buy another one πŸ™‚

LipMonthly June 2015

I am stil getting my LipMonthly even though a lot of people don’t think it’s worth it – I really enjoy it! It’s US $ 15 for a bag with shipping and I don’t find that expensive as it’s shipped from USA. I can only get one lip product for that price here in Norway even a L’oreal Lip stick is about that price so to get 4 products is fantastic.

This month I really like the bag, but unfortunately all the lip products this month are red or bright pink – and even though it’s summer I don’t wear red or bright pink – but I like the quality of the products never the less… πŸ™‚

What I also really love about the subscription is that it gets here every month without troubles – and it’s fun to see what they have send every time.

Worth US $ 2.99

Color Hybrid

So Susan Color Hybrid – nice smell

This product is very pigmented and nice if you like a liquid lip tint! It can also be used on your cheeks if you have to nerve to try that.

Swatch Color Hybrid

I bet you can blend it out though πŸ˜‰ It’s worth US $ 17.50 – that’s a total retail value for the whole bag of US $ 54.44 but just as with all other subscription boxes they up the value of all the products.

I would say it’s a nice month although I would have liked a neutral or more light pink lipstick or gloss! But I stil have the Cargo one they send last month and it is SOOOOO pretty and I stil think just that gloss was worth a few months of payment! I love those gems that surfaces…

Sale at L’oreal in Oslo!

L'oreal Manga

Miss Manga in Pink!

Right now theres a sale going on at L’oreal in Oslo.

Today I bought the Manga Mascara in Pink for only 30,- Nkr. They also had the turquise and the blue one for the same cheap price! Normally they are 149,- kroner.

I also got the Color Riche Cameleon in 600 Opalescent and 601 Soleil Levant. They are so pretty to top off your eyeshadows and change them into other colors.

Cameleon eyeshadows!

The New Freedom Makeup London from the same people that makes Makeup Revolution!

There is a new “professional” makeup brand called Freedom Makeup London and I really want to like them so I ordered a package while they had free shipping.

It was very fast shipping so no complaints about that but there was four of my eyeshadows that were broken – and I stil need to hear back on what they want to do about that πŸ™‚ But one Eyeshadow palette made it and I want to review my first impression!

Freedom palette

Freedom PRO 12 Chasing Rainbows

The first thing is always looks! And I can’t say that this is very original nor very pretty! As everyone knows right now half your image is about packaging – Etude House surely proved that for every Makeup Firm out there!
If I can be a little rude I would say it looks like a Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow palette but with Nars eyeshadow patterns in…Β  Β Β That is not very original!!!

But the colors are very pretty! Let us look inside…

Freedom open

12 colorful eyeshadows

There are two matte and 10 shimmer shades in this palette. I will let you know what I think of each shade.

Makeup freedom 1

Mat neon yellow, shimmer olive, green and pink

The mat shadows are not nearly as pigmented as the shimmer ones. You can clearly see that on the picture. I really like the pigmentation of the shimmer shades BUT they are a little dusty and might cause fallout – I will report back on that when I have used them on my eyes πŸ™‚ First impression of the upper line in this palette is that I will use the three shimmer shades but not the mat yellow one.

Makeup freedom 2

teal, dark blue, dark purple and dark pink

I think all four are pretty pigmented but I will problebly only use the pink one and perhaps the purple as a liner.

Makeup Revolution 3

purple, dark blue, navy and mat neon pink

The mat pink is better than the yellow but it’s not as pigmented as the three shimmer ones. I will problebly only use the purple color here…

My first impression is that they are soft and pretty workable. These swatches are WITHOUT primer, so with primer they will probably be even more intense!

I will look forward to giving you a better review of the eyeshadow palette when I have tried them!
